Photography in Action

Since the days of his youth, Cas Sowa has been interested in nature and wildlife. From following squirrel tracks as a kid, to coming face to face with a big black wolf as a teenager. As an adult, what he learned from nature, he applied to photography.
Cas started out with a basic camera in the early '70's and advanced to Nikon's lastest technical equipment. Having worked for fifteen years as a seasonal park ranger in wilderness parks of British Columbia, it has given him the experience in wilderness ecology.
In his spare time he would dissapear into the mountains in search of the majestic moose, or to photograph baby lambs and kids. At one time even run off the mountain by a grizz protecting his domain. Fortunately he managed to preotect himself with a can of pepper spray he had been packing around for 10 years.
All his photography was taken in wilderness settings. Thoughout the 25 years of photography, he has built up a number of quality images. Some here for your viewing.
