Captain's Best Girlfriend: Sally Anne At Room 42 (AKC Labrador Retriever) shown pointing at 20 weeks of age, nose down, loose point, very characteristic of Sally Anne's point. Sally Anne points at everything. Pointing in pack behavior means "There is something interesting over there." Winter Blizzard 30 to 36 inches of Snow: Both Captain and Sally Anne pointed at their snow challenge. Captain must have held his point, easily 5 to 10 seconds, before venturing out to "do his business". Captain ventured out, prior to Sally Anne, and I missed the picture, by not having my camera on hand. This is Sally Anne pointing at the snow challenge. "There is something interesting over there." A point that tight can not possibly be, just a pause in forward motion. Sally Anne is pointing at the novelty of deep snow. And Captain had done the same. It is exciting for me, when I actually catch their points on film. They have not been "whoa" trained, so catching them in their points is a tricky camera thing.
