McEwen Trail Tour: 2 day, overnight

| 7 - 8am | Breakfast in Resort Dining Room |
| 9 am | Drive from Bear Paw Ranch, traveling along old coal mining road, past beautiful Eleau Lake. Drive continues along an unfinished railway grade to McEwen Trail in the Spatzizi Wilderness Park. |

Hike from trailhead to Cartmill Lake, formerly known as the best area for sheep hunting. Today
it is part of the Spatzizi Park and retains a healthy sheep population.Campfire/bag lunch at Cartmill Lake. Guests enjoy the scenic view of the surrounding mountains and the clear water lake. Note: this is a trail traveled more by game, then by man. Continue trek up steep slope to Fish Lake to set up base camp. This lake is named for its shape, not the fish population. Good wildlife viewing and/or photography opportunities. Campfire dinner "al fresco". |
| Day 2 | |

Campfire Breakfast Hike continues following along valley of alpine meadows to Ram Creek. Head down to the headwaters of Eagle's Nest Creek for a campfire lunch. |
| 3 - 4pm | Hike along creek to return to railway grade and vehicle and back to the Bear Paw Ranch Resort (sauna anyone?) |
| 7 - 8pm | Full course dinner in Resort Dinning Room. Guests may relax for the evening. |
