Begin Tour of Lakes with Eddontenajon Lake. Drift along breathtaking mountain range scenery,
while watching for wildlife along lake shores --- moose, wolf, goat, beaver, fox, eagles, bear
and different species of grouse.
Continue through connecting Iskut River system to Tatogga Lake, again following through river
on to Kinaskan Lake, and the beginning of Kinaskan Lake Park. Fishing enthusiasts may fish
along the way in various sites. The south end runs into a longer and quite scenic section
of the Iskut River. Enjoy this river run which flows into the last of the lakes, Netadesleen,
for more great fishing and wildlife photography opportunities.Disembark on the south end of Netadesleen where the Iskut River flows out. A 15 minute hike takes guests to the viewpoint for the spectacular and rarely seen Cascade Falls. In season, the guests may explore the are for local edible mushrooms. Guests return to Lakeshore for campfire lunch of fresh caught rainbow trout (or "back-up" bag lunch), then return by boat to Kinaskan Lake, for pick-up and return to: |

Travel for an hour from the Bear Paw Ranch Resort through the beautiful Iskut River system
(the most scenic viewing along highway 37) to the trailhead. Then a short 30 minute hike takes you to
the shores of lovely Natadesleen Lake. From there paddle your canoe across the waters, but never so fast
as not to enjoy the excellent fishing to the far side. It is there an old trapper trail will
take you to the spectacular viewing of the roaring Cascade Falls.
Amidst the thunder and the spray, try and catch a glimpse of black bear and moose. The return
hike to the canoes through the dense virgin forest takes but a moment, then enjoy the old
native method of fresh rainbow trout, roasted over the campfire. Continue your luck fishing
or just relax and return via the park trail to vehicle and the Bear Paw Ranch Resort.
