9 am Drive to the Stikine River bridge.
Experience the excitement of early "Gold Rush Fever" on this tour where you will actually pan and find gold. Guests will head up the "mighty Stikine" river with a jet boat. A short stop along the shoreline to see historic trappers cabin, then on up the river through Eagle Canyon. Good opportunity for wildlife viewing along shore --- moose, bear and wolf.
On to the emerald green waters of the picturesque Beggarly Canyon, stopping for a short climb and hike on the canoeists portage trail and suspension cable bridge, and back to the boat. Good area for wild berry picking.
Gold Panning Return through the Canyon to connecting Klappan River system, heading up-river to (shh!) secret gold panning site. Guests are shown gold panning techniques, and are often left on their own to uncover what they can. Everyone will find colour, the flakes that lured thousands to the area in search of their fortunes in days gone by.

6 - 7pmReturn to boat, heading downstream to Stikine bridge, and back to the Bear Paw Ranch Resort
