Bookings:
To guarantee your booking, we would need a payment on account 4 weeks ahead, balance due upon arrival.

Our 3 meals are served in our Resort Dining Room. Coffee is complimentary.

Dinner 19:00 - 20:00 p.m.

To find us:
By Land: Automobile or Motorhomes rentals available in major centres - Bear Paw Ranch welcomes those wishing to provide their own accommodation.
By Air: Canadian Airlines International. / Central Mountain Air Time Smithers or Terrace. From Terrace and Smithers to Dease Lake daily flights.
By Train: Service from North Vancouver (B.C. Rail) to Prince George to Smithers. Service from Jasper - Prince George - Smithers (via Rail).
By Ferry: B.C. Ferries from Port Hardy to Prince Rupert. Alaska State Ferries, south from Skagway, Juneau or Ketchikan to Prince Rupert. Ferry service also from Ketchikan to Stewart, B.C./Hyder, AK.
We also offer transfer from Smithers, Terrace and Dease Lake to the Bear Paw Ranch Resort for fee of $ 100.- (two ways - Dease Lake), $840.- (two ways - each 6 hours Smithers or Terrace).

Day tours range from 6 to 8 hours.

  • 1) Items for guests to bring:
  • Good quality hiking boots (all tours)
  • Warm clothing / rainproof outerwear (all tours)
  • Small packsack (overnight tours)
  • Warm sleeping bag for zero degrees celsius (overnight tours)
  • Enough film!!!
  • Experts - please bring all fish gear, we provide for amateurs only
  • Winter tours: please provide your own warm gear and equipment, e.g. boots, skis, etc.
  • 2) All helicopter / floatplane expenses are extra and not included in the price of the tour packages.
  • 3) Fishing Licenses for non-residents of British Columbia:
  • Year: 42.00 (approx.)
  • 6 day: 26.00 (approx.)
  • Limits: 12 to 24 inches - 5/person/day
  • Limits: 24 inches + - 2/person/day
